This piece was commissioned by a fan of the Art Nouveau style, particularly Alphonse Mucha. The woman is kneeling before Jesus, offering her crown to him, making him the Lord of her life. “Christus Victor” means “Christ Victorious”. Jesus is victorious over sin and death.
